Users can now add data labels to their charts! Data label settings can be found on the left sidepanel, under Chart Text.
Currently, data labels are only available on
bar charts
and pie charts
.There are several ways to customize a chart's data labels:
- Show Labels- Turn data labels on and off
- Label Placement- Show labels outside of the bar, or inside of the bar in the top, center or bottom
- Label Removal %- Remove labels from chart pieces smaller than this percentage. Helps to remove overlapping text on smaller chart pieces.
- Background- Turn on a label background for increased readability of the label
- Background opacity- Set towards 0 to make the label background more see through, and towards 100 for a more opaque background.
- Text color: Set to light or dark (background color changes to contrast this setting)
